Photo 18: Glasses ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/160 F-Stop: 5.6 I had planned on taking more pictures while spending the weekend in Chicago, but St. Patricks Day got in the way. Because of this, I decided to avoid bringing my DSLR into a bar at 8 in the morning. If I'm planning on making dietary decisions some might claim to be irresponsible, then I might as well plug any other hole in the dam of poor choices.
But I did get to use it! Before the subway, I was taking photos of my surroundings. The city is so big, a photo of a station like this wouldn't stand out as distinct. Not to say there isn't distinct parts of Chicago everywhere. But with the amount of time I had, I couldn't take advantage of exposing that on a 500 mm lens. So I went with emotion. You might recognize the smirking man from a previous photo. That's Ethan. The less-of-a-smirk woman behind him is Beth. And they are framed perfectly between Andy's body and the large advertisement to their right. That's why I like it. It was a pretty nice March day, as you might tell by the sunny industrial backdrop. Happy spring!
