Photo 29: Bird ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/160 F-Stop: 1/16 Well, it turns out I discovered a new species of bird because the internet isn't being very helpful in assisting me in identifying what bird I'm looking at. Being this was almost a month ago, I have little recollection of its call, but it certainly was a cutie.
This little bastard also wasn't very interested in being photographed as it kept hopping around all over the place. Perhaps I didn't convey to the bird well enough that they were modeling because it was far more interested in the other birds in the vicinity. Brooks was the first person to spot the bird, not me. He blends in so well with the creek's canopy. Duluth continues to surprise me with it's vegetative, landscape and animal diversity it houses. This photo was taken in a little plateau of standing water at the base of one of it's many water falls. Despite the water of many of the Northland's tributaries being tea-colored, many of the water sources in the city remain surprisingly clean. Not that I'm complaining. It means I get more than one photo out of each venture.
