Photo 13: Dog (Again) ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/100 F-Stop: 5 So this isn't my favorite photo I've posted. The snow is blurred. I didn't realize it but while taking photos, the snow was coming down much faster than the shutter speed I had set could focus on. That surprised me. I haven't taken many photos of snow, but of what I have it's usually falling much softer. This came down more like rain.
Ted of course was such a good boy during his photo shoot. The trick to taking photos of dogs with black fur I've found, is just have as much light on them as possible. If that means snow literally everywhere, then dammit, that's what's going to happen. My intention of showcasing this photo is to exemplify my own critiques of my work. I can pick out some of the problems I'm seeing in the photo. Maybe that's a testament to my growth as a photographer (?). I'm pleased with the mix of backdrops that complement Ted and all his wonderful surroundings.
