Photo 12: Linton Hall ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60 F-Stop: 11 See that tree? The one dominating the top right corner of the photo? It was my favorite thing to frame in the photos I was taking. While including the trunk would have provided even better framing in the shot, I preferred its placement over the the building's spire, just kissing the very top of the building.
I was focusing on the building when I took the photo, which kept the image from becoming too saturated. The sky was so damn clear the sun was more of an enemy in my picture taking. At the same time, it's hard to be mad at that Toy Story wallpaper blessing the background. I'm told that the best weather to shoot photos in is overcast, as it provides a strong reflection of light without the sun placing imbalance on where the brightness is in the composition. While I do agree, it's not such a fluid object that I can't compensate when taking the picture. All I gotta do is learn how to compensate.
